A fresh start for my little corner of the music world
For a long time I’ve wanted a proper home for all the “little things” that orbit my music—cards, prints, oddball artifacts, and small objects with stories behind them. I’ve also wanted a more reliable way to stay in touch with the people who actually care about what I’m doing.
Today I finally get to share both!
I just launched my new online store, Footlight Favorites, at: shop.BenKillen.com
and I’m officially re‑introducing my email list under a new name: Ben’s Blues & Breakfast Club.
What is Footlight Favorites?
Footlight Favorites is my new direct‑to‑fan shop: a place for small, tangible pieces of my music life.
Right now you’ll find things like:
- Limited‑run musician “baseball cards” and other collectible prints
- Postcards, bookmarks, and little paper treasures
- Members‑only items that tie into my shows, radio projects, and future releases
Over time I’ll be adding more: new designs, special edition runs, and pieces connected to specific songs, tours, and projects like Cowgirl Radio / Radio Herstory and the Broken Pennies Project.

What is Ben’s Blues & Breakfast Club?
Ben’s Blues & Breakfast Club is the new home for my email list: a free newsletter for anyone who wants to be closer to the music, stories, and projects than social media allows.

A quick confession (and why this rebrand matters)
A little while ago I discovered something humbling: my old email auto‑responder had quietly stopped working for months!
People signed up. I promised I’d keep in touch. And then… almost nothing went out, even when I thought it was. Honestly, that’s on me, and I’m sorry if you were one of the people waiting to hear from me and mostly got silence.
Moving to a new platform and renaming the list as Ben’s Blues & Breakfast Club is my way of hitting reset—doing it better, more intentionally, and making sure that if you raise your hand to say “I care about this,” you actually hear from me.
Why now?
Between launching the store, working on new music, building Radio Herstory, and trying to keep my little radio station online, it’s become clear that I need two things:
- A direct way to stay connected with the people who believe in what I’m doing.
- A direct way to offer value back—art, songs, stories, and small objects—without relying solely on platforms I don’t control.
Footlight Favorites and Ben’s Blues & Breakfast Club are the two pillars of that: one in the physical, one purely digital, but both rooted in the same intention.
