Y'all wanna know a lil’ secret? For years, I’ve singlehandedly built and maintained my own websites, tweaking code, troubleshooting issues, making sure everything stayed up and running, most of the time, that is! It's been a rewarding effort—but also a time-consuming one! And as much as I love and support the DIY approach (y’all already know being a musician nowadays means wearing ALL the hats) but eventually, I've realized you have to learn to hand-off the ones that only slow you down, especially when you can hand-the-hat-off to the Pro's!
So I’m excited to introduce to y'all my new website, built largely in just one evening using Bandzoogle, previously unfamiliar to me. But this is a platform built specifically for musicians, and I’ve really been pleasantly surprised at how, with just my Bio a handful of new photos (from a shoot suggested by my Ace new Publicist) how quickly I was able to build a brand new site that not only looks awesome and functions far better than any of my old ones, only now with all the bells-and-whistles I never had time to get around to adding! More importantly, if something ever goes wrong, worst while I’m on the road, now I know I won’t be the only one left hanging on-the-hook to fix it again. That’s peace-of-mind!
I want this to be a space where I share news, stories from the studio & the road, behind-the-scenes insights, and maybe even a deep-dive or two into my little corner of the music industry. I do plan to bring over a couple of posts from my older legacy sites—a few stories that definitely deserve to live on.
